Today, we are happy to present our 2024 Social Report. This document goes beyond figures: it is the story of how, thanks to you, we continue to guarantee safety, medical care, and education to the children at the Malaika family home in Tanzania.
Major Milestones and New Beginnings
2024 was a year of extraordinary growth. We have seen the fruits of our long-term work:

Towards Autonomy: Four of our young people completed high school. The doors to university or the world of work are now opening for them.

The “Towards Independence” Project: Specifically for these older youths, we launched a co-living arrangement outside the family home (still under our supervision) to help them transition into adult life.

New Embraces: The family has grown, joyfully welcoming two new little ones who now have a safe place to grow up.
Sustainability: Building the Future with Our Own Hands
We didn’t stop at just providing care. Thanks to your donations, we invested in making Malaika increasingly self-sufficient:

The Candle Factory operated at full capacity for the first time, recording a 77% increase in sales, which allowed us to hire a dedicated employee.

The “Egg Project” has kicked off: the construction of a new chicken coop will guarantee an additional source of self-financing for the facility.
